Mayor of Banjul, the Capital City of Gambia Rohey Malick Lowe has handed over air tickets to the deserving beneficiaries who are embarking on a journey of learning and skill development in Nigeria and Senegal through the youth volunteerism initiatives.
In a rapidly evolving world, where knowledge and expertise are crucial currencies, these youths according to her have shown exceptional dedication and determination to pursue excellence in their respective fields.
Scribbling on his Facebook page, the Mayor remarked that their commitment to self-improvement not only reflects their personal aspirations but also underscores their desire to contribute meaningfully to our society and economy upon their return.
“By investing in their education and skill development, we are not only investing in their future but also in the future of our city.
The knowledge and experiences they will gain abroad will not only enhance their own capabilities but will also enrich our community, fostering innovation, creativity, and progress”.
Bidding them farewell and success on their journey, she urged every stakeholder and partner to continue supporting and encouraging aspiring youths like them.
