I woke up this morning and had a strong desire to share one of my fundamental elements for establishing a business and growing yourself: consistency.

Throughout my career, I have always tried to be consistent.

Because I know that even the most successful business plans are doomed to fail if they do not follow a consistent path. If I say I will do something, I strive to do it.

If I say I’m going somewhere, I strive to be there. If I’m determined to start a new business process, I open a new page and move on without losing my determination.

Even when I ask my employees to be accountable for their deliverables and targets, I expect that they require the same in return from my leadership. If I’m going to demand consistent results from them, they should demand the same from me.

In my experience, consistency [and having the right attitude] is a must in establishing and growing yourself and your business.

But consistency is not just important in achieving success. It helps you to sustain the results of it. Because it takes doing one thing over and over again to succeed at it, consistency becomes what gives you the strength to keep going during tough times and focus on your progress, not the outcome. When you’re consistent, you don’t let life’s disappointments derail you. You see mistakes as learning opportunities and understand that overcoming failure is what allows you to unlock your true potential!
