The founder and leader for Liberal Party of Ghana, Percival Kofi Akpaloo has felicitated Muslims in Ghana following a successful completion of this year’s Ramadan.
On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, he has admonished that as they celebrate, it is important they keep its symbolism and message in mind.
“I urge Muslims in Ghana to share the joy with the less privilege and poor sections of our society and make the utmost efforts to enable them to celebrate it”, he said in an interview with www.leakyghana.com
Outspoken Akpaloo explained that doing so will go a long way to reduce the gulf between the haves and the have-nots and also lead to a more harmonious, peaceful and balanced society.
“Share to bridge gap between the poor and the rich”, he reiterated.
“Eid is a time of generosity and celebration and also a wonderful opportunity to reach out to our neighbors and local community, inviting them to share in our celebration”.
He also advised that
“Eid is the time of year when you should amend your mistakes and forgive others mistakes.
May Allah on this day grant you wisdom and kindness”.
