PRESS RELEASE
By Hon. Ken Ohene AgyapongMonday, April 1, 2025
In the name of the Almighty, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful – The Giver of Strength, the Source of Peace.
As this blessed month of Ramadan comes to a close, I want to speak to you—not as a politician, but as a brother, a fellow Ghanaian, and someone who holds deep love for the Muslim community, especially our cherished Zongo families.
You have fasted with strength.
You have prayed with faith.
You have sacrificed with humility and grace. And now, it’s time to rejoice in all that you have overcome.
Your discipline and devotion inspire me deeply.
Your commitment to peace, charity, and unity during this sacred month is a powerful reminder of the values that bind us together as one people.
The end of Ramadan, marked by Eid-ul-Fitr, is not just a celebration—it is a reaffirmation of our shared humanity and a call for us to keep building a more inclusive, compassionate Ghana.
To my beloved Zongo communities: I see you, I appreciate you, and I stand with you—not just today, but every day.
Your contributions to our national identity, our economy, and our culture are invaluable.
Your values of hospitality, community, and faith are pillars of what makes Ghana whole.
As families gather to celebrate, let this moment fill your homes with joy and your hearts with hope.
May it inspire a renewed commitment to unity, to purpose, and to each other.
Let this Eid not only mark the end of fasting but also the beginning of greater understanding, stronger bonds, and a brighter future—for every child, every family, and every Zongo across this country.
From my heart to yours, I wish you all a joyous and meaningful Eid.
May Allah (SWT) accept your prayers, your sacrifices, and your acts of devotion.
