Dr. Charles Dwamena, a leading contender for the General Secretary position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has extended warm greetings to Muslims at the start of Ramadan, describing the season as one of reflection, sacrifice, and national unity.

In his message marking the commencement of the holy month, Dr. Dwamena prayed for peace, success, and abundant blessings for all observing the fast.

“Warm wishes as Ramadan begins. May this Holy Month bring peace, success and blessings.”

He noted that Ramadan presents an opportunity for spiritual renewal and deeper commitment to values such as discipline, compassion, and service, principles he said are equally vital in political leadership and party organization.

Dr. Dwamena who is currently the National Treasurer for the NPP also used the occasion to call on NPP delegates and supporters across the country to rally behind his candidacy for General Secretary.
He urged party faithful to unite in support of his vision to strengthen internal structures, enhance communication, and energize the grassroots base of the party.
According to him, effective and visionary leadership at the secretariat will be critical to repositioning the NPP for future electoral success and sustaining the party’s tradition of good governance.
