The Ministry of Education has officially announced that the 2025 Computerised School Placement exercise will commence on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
Speaking at a press briefing today, the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Professor Ernest Davis, emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to a fair, transparent, and merit-based placement process.

He assured all stakeholders—students, parents, and school administrators—that the system remains robust and free from manipulation. Professor Davis also cautioned parents and guardians against engaging with individuals who may attempt to extort money under the guise of influencing school placements. He urged the public to promptly report such individuals to the appropriate authorities.

“All placement results will be made accessible online for easy verification and convenience,” Professor Davis stated.

The Ministry reiterated its dedication to ensuring a smooth and credible placement process, adding that it is working closely with relevant agencies to uphold the integrity of the exercise.
