The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Hon. Samuel Nartey George, has publicly commended his Deputy, Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu, describing him as a key blessing and a dependable partner in advancing government’s agenda for the sector.

In a statement shared on his official Facebook page, the Minister expressed gratitude to God for what he described as the “gift of men and women” placed in his life at critical stages of his journey.

He singled out Hon. Sukparu as one of such blessings in 2025, noting that the Deputy Minister was hand-picked by President John Dramani Mahama to help steady the Ministry and reposition the communications and digital technology sector.
According to Hon. Sam George, the past six months of working with Hon. Sukparu have been “remarkable,” adding that although they were friends during their time together in the 8th Parliament, their relationship has since deepened into what he called a brotherhood in pursuit of the government’s “Reset Agenda.”

He further praised the Deputy Minister for representing both himself and the Ministry with distinction locally and internationally, stating that feedback from stakeholders has been “splendid.”
The Minister also expressed confidence in the future of the sector, saying he is enthusiastic about what lies ahead as they continue to build on foundations laid in the previous year.
Hon. Sam George said he was not surprised by Hon. Sukparu’s recent recognition as one of the top 10 Deputy Ministers in the latest rankings, adding that the best is yet to come for the Ministry.
The statement concluded with a call to service and patriotism, underscored by the message: “For God and Country.”
