Nana Biribireba Boateng, a sub-chief of Juaben Traditional Council is bidding for the Chief Executive position of Juaben Municipal Assembly.

Expression of his interest for the post has been fueled by his unabated desire to harness his entrepreneurial potential to facelift the Municipality to the status it deserves.

He was vetted on Thursday at the Ashanti Regional office of the NDC and is patiently waiting to be nominated by President John Dramani Mahama.

Outlining his vision ahead of the vetting, he told this news portal that his key focus when named as MCE is making the Municipality an industrial hub.

As a respected businessman having strong link with a tall list of foreign investors, he promised to attract same to set up businesses and industries that will boost the economic growth of the Municipality.

He underlined that, the forgiving will reduce the rate of unemployment among youth in the area.

Nana Biribireba also promised to lobby for the establishment of a tertiary institution, construction of link roads, satellite markets and enhance agriculture.

24-hour Economy

He reiterated that, the 24-hour Economy policy of the NDC is a possibility and will complement the efforts of President John Dramani Mahama with measures to make it feasible in Juaben Municipality.

As a Municipal Chief Executive, he said he will work assiduously to maximize the votes of NDC in the Municipality to 15,000 in the next general elections.

He has therefore appealed to President John Dramani Mahama to consider him for position, saying “I have a lot to offer the people of Juaben Municipality”.
