The Board Chair of Juaben Rural Bank PLC, Nana Dr. Appiagyei Danka-Woso I have cautioned the youth against the rampant illegal mining activities (galamsey) in the country.
According to him, the future of this country solely depends on the youth. Adding that the youth in question are the ones destroying our water bodies, forest reserves, and many others through these illegal mining activities.
Nana Dr. Appiagyei Danka-Woso I lamented on the consequences the country will face, such as the outbreak of diseases, water shortage, and many other such these acts continues.
“God has blessed this country with many natural resources, which we need to protect it for future generations, he stressed.
The Board Chair of Juaben Rural Bank PLC made this statement during a press briefing in marking Juaben Rural Bank PLC 40 years of sustainable banking in the country.
Stating that the bank is aimed at planting 4,000 trees, which they have already started as part of protecting the environment and shaping the lives of the people.
The Chief Executive Officer of Juaben Rural Bank PLC, Mr. Noble Augustine Awere Damoah thanked its customers, shareholders, and stakeholders for their efforts in pushing the bank to become the 2023 Bank of the Year in the 4th Chamber of Business Awards.
He urged the general public to desist from any act that will cause chaos to the country as head towards the general elections come December 7th and protect the peace we are enjoying.
