Officials of Blow Chem Industries Limited, producers of Bel Beverages, have donated some of their beverage products to Muslim communities in the Ashanti Region through the office of the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam.

The donation, valued at over GH¢15,000, comprised more than 100 cartons of Bel Cola, Bel Malt, Bel Squeeze, and other beverages.

The presentation was held on Thursday at the forecourt of the Kumasi Central Mosque.

Alex Muah Blankson, the Ashanti Regional Sales Manager for Bel Beverages, officially handed over the items to Mohammed Bun-Bida, Administrative Secretary at the Chief Imam’s office.

Speaking to journalists, Mr. Blankson said the donation was part of the company’s effort to support Muslims as they conclude their fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.

He highlighted that Blow Chem Industries, through Bel Beverages, has been consistently supporting Muslim communities in the region for over five years.

He emphasized that the company’s engagement goes beyond donations, extending to areas such as sports and community development.

“Bel is firmly joined to the Muslim community,” he said, noting that Bel products are widely sold in shops across Muslim communities.

Mr. Blankson expressed appreciation to the Muslim communities in Ashanti for their loyalty and patronage of Bel products, explaining that the donation was also a way of reciprocating the support and strengthening their long-standing relationship.

Receiving the donation, Mr. Bun-Bida commended Blow Chem Industries for their consistent contributions to the office of the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam and the broader Muslim communities in Kumasi.

He urged other organizations to follow their example in supporting community initiatives.
