Atwima Mponua, Atwima Nwabiagya South and North constituencies of the Ashanti region turned agog on Monday, 4th November , 2024 as the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia visited the areas as part of his campaign tour in Ashanti region.
What detractors thought would be marked by just a handful of supporters turned out jumbo and pump as party faithfuls from every nook and crannies converged at the campaign grounds to bid Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia welcome and give an enthusiastic hearing to his spell-binding campaign message.
Sharing his remarks on his official Facebook page, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia scribbled that “as always, Ashanti region has welcomed me and the NPP with open arms and Monday was no different.
The energy and enthusiasm on display during my engagements with the Chiefs, religious leaders, youth and other persons was ample evidence that my vision filled with new ideas and bold solutions had been widely received”.
Dr. Bawumia said he is confident that Ashanti region will join the 15 other regions to elect a President whose oft-stated aim is to work assiduously to make life easier and better for every Ghanaian, with a track record to back it up.
