A prophetic declaration by the Founder and leader of Shammah Fire and Miracle Ministries, Prophet Dr. Prince Brown, has ignited fresh conversations about the future leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In an exclusive interview with Leaky Ghana Online, the prophet asserted that the Member of Parliament for Bantama Constituency, Hon. Asenso Boakye, has been divinely chosen to one day lead the NPP.
He maintained that Asenso Boakye’s leadership would replicate the governance style and political legacy of former President John Agyekum Kufuor.
Prophet Dr. Prince Brown explained that his conviction was based on a spiritual vision in which a symbolic crown, described as white and adorned with diamonds and crystals
was lifted from former President Kufuor and transferred across the Ashanti Region before settling on Hon. Asenso Boakye.
According to him, the imagery represents a transfer of political authority and responsibility.
The cleric stressed that Hon. Asenso Boakye should remain steadfast, insisting that “nothing can stop” the fulfillment of the prophecy.
He further described the Bantama lawmaker as the only individual capable of carrying forward Kufuor’s political mantle within the party.
The prophecy has drawn mixed reactions from the public, with some viewing it as a spiritual affirmation of political succession, while others see it as part of the growing intersection between religion and Ghanaian politics.
As of publication, no official response has been issued by Hon. Asenso Boakye or the New Patriotic Party.
