The Asante Professionals Club has launched its 10th anniversary in a grand style, under the theme “honouring our roots, shaping our future”.
The event which was held at the Erata Hotel at East Legon in Accra, brought together members of the Club, comprising professionals from diverse backgrounds who hail from the Asante Kingdom.
Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye, MP for Bantama Constitutency, doubling as the former Minister for Roads is the founder of the club.
Participants at the launch included the Founding Members of the club, state Functionaries, Members of Parliament, some of whom are members of the Club, media practitioners, the business community and various dignitaries of Asante descent.
President of the Club, Dr. Augustus Isaac Antwi, in his welcome address highlighted the objectives of APC, which have the development of Asanteman and Ghana as its core.
Dr. Antwi further emphasized on the need for a collaborative effort from all en sundry to help in the holistic development of the entire Asante Kingdom.
He also announced that the Club is set to commission an ultramodern ICT Laboratory Center as part of the Club’s 10 years anniversary legacy project.
