Kumasi-based clergyman, Prophet Sarpong See, has sparked major political and spiritual controversy after declaring that Hon. Kennedy Agyapong’s dream of becoming President of Ghana can only materialise if he accepts a running mate position under Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The prophet warned that any refusal of such an offer would spell the end of Kennedy Agyapong’s political relevance.

According to him, an alliance with Dr. Bawumia is not optional but the only divine and political pathway left for the outspoken politician to ever occupy the highest office in the land.

Speaking in an interview with leakyGhana Online, Prophet Sarpong See, popularly known as the Mystic Prophet and founder of the Prayer-Seat Prophetic Church claimed that accepting the vice-presidential slot would automatically place Kennedy Agyapong in line to become President after the completion of Dr. Bawumia’s tenure.

The clergyman further issued a chilling warning, stating that failure to accept the offer would cause Kennedy Agyapong’s political career to “fade into irrelevance,” drawing a sharp comparison with the political fortunes of former Trade Minister Alan Kyerematen, popularly known as “Alan Cash.”

In an even more shocking disclosure, Prophet Sarpong See revealed days before the just-ended NPP presidential primaries, Kennedy Agyapong’s defeat during an interview on Angel FM.

He insisted in the interview that there was no possibility of Agyapong winning the primaries or ever emerging as the party’s flagbearer for the 2028 elections.

The prophet attributed the defeat to what he described as a spiritual burial orchestrated by some powerful prophets in Ghana, claiming that this spiritual attack sealed Kennedy Agyapong’s fate at the polls.

“He has been buried by some powerful prophets in Ghana and for that reason there is now way he can win to become the flagbearer.”

With the loss of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong in the NPP primaries now a reality, analysts have underscored the outcome as undeniable proof of the prophecy, further intensifying public debate over the intersection of politics, power, and prophecy in Ghana.
