Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei, NPP parliamentary candidate for Bekwai Constituency turned Asokore community agog on Thursday, 18th July, 2024.

Though the area is on record to be the hometown of independent parliamentary candidate Lawyer Amofa, Lawyer Ralph was welcomed by a jubilant crowd of residents the moment he turned up to commission a borehole water facility he has built for them.

Characterising the gesture were “Ralph afa”, “obiaa boa”, “Ralph b3ba” and “MP Papa paa” chants by trilled residents as they walked to witness the commissioning of the facility.

Constitutency party chairman for NPP, Hon. Alex Arkoh Darkwah joined the legal practitioner at the event.

Preceding the gesture was a courtesy visit the parliamentary candidate paid the same day to Chiefs and traditional leaders of Gyasikrom, Koniyaw and Asokore communities.

The aim was to formally introduce himself to them as the new candidate contesting for the seat and also solicit for their support.

Bore hole

The facility adds up to two boreholes constructed by Lawyer Ralph Poku Adusie in Edwenase and Huntado communities under a project dubbed “Water for Life”.

Commissioning

At the event Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusie told the press that politics is not about much talk but about showcasing what one can do for electorates.

He noted that the constructed bore hole is a prove that he is ready to support Asokore and the constituency by extension.

Ralph Poku-Adusei mentioned that he is set to offer more developmental support before, during and after December elections so as to make life comfortable for all residents.

In his address, the party Chairman Hon Alex Arkoh admonished the residents to vote for the Lawyer Ralph Poku Adusie as their MP and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as President of Ghana in the upcoming 2024 general election.
