The long-anticipated tarring of the Tanoso Ahenfie to Atwima Techiman road has officially commenced, marking a significant milestone in infrastructure development within the Kwadaso Constituency.

Construction, which began last year under the leadership of the Member of Parliament for Kwadaso, Hon. Prof. Kingsley Nyarko, had faced some delays. However, the project is now back on track, with contractor Attachy returning to site and laying the first layer of bitumen along the stretch.

In an exclusive interview with www.leakyghana.com, Hon. Prof. Nyarko reaffirmed the contractor’s dedication to completing all key road projects within the Tanoso Electoral Area. He described the current progress as a “turning point” for communities that have long struggled with poor road networks.

“This is a historic moment for the people of Tanoso and Atwima Techiman. It is the first time such a comprehensive road construction project is being undertaken in these areas,” he stated.

The newly tarred road is expected to significantly benefit residents of Tanoso, Atwima Techiman, and parts of Denchemuoso, improving transportation, boosting local commerce, and enhancing access to essential services.
This development forms part of broader efforts by the MP and the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly to address road infrastructure challenges in the constituency.
