Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC and Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has issued a fiery warning to the party’s General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua, during a recent appearance on Ohia TV.

In a bold declaration, Abronye stated that if he is disqualified after picking up delegate nomination forms, he will publicly expose internal dealings within the party.

The statement comes amid heightened tensions in the NPP as the party prepares for its upcoming primaries.
Abronye, known for his outspoken nature, accused certain national executives of hypocrisy and double standards.

He claimed that while the party preaches unity, it fails to hold accountable those allegedly orchestrating smear campaigns against fellow aspirants.
“If I pick the forms and you disqualify me, I will expose everything,” Abronye warned, suggesting that he possesses sensitive information that could shake the party’s leadership.
His comments were directed at Justin Kodua, who recently announced that the party would issue final warnings to Abronye and Deputy Communications Officer Ernest Owusu Bempah over acts of indiscipline.
The NPP has since referred Abronye to its disciplinary committee for breaching internal directives and making unguarded public statements. Party insiders say the leadership is concerned about factionalism and the impact of such rhetoric on party cohesion ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Despite the looming disciplinary action, Abronye remains defiant. He insists that his criticisms stem from a desire to uphold fairness and transparency within the party. “Suspend who? I’m only speaking about things I know, and nothing will change my position,” he said.
As the NPP navigates internal challenges, Abronye’s warning has added fuel to an already simmering political climate. Whether the party will move to disqualify him or seek reconciliation remains to be seen—but one thing is clear: the Bono Regional Chairman is not backing down.
