Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, the spiritual leader behind Action Chapel International, has broken his silence following the emergence of a controversial story published by ghanacelebrity.com.
During a recent discussion featured on 3NewsGH, the Archbishop called out the online outlet for spreading what he and his legal team describe as a fabricated narrative, demanding both an immediate apology and the removal of the content.

The contested report alleged that Duncan-Williams’ son secretly recorded a private exchange involving the Archbishop and other pastors.

The supposed recording allegedly contained comments by the Archbishop concerning Ghana’s Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and his political ambitions ahead of the presidential election.
After the article went live, it quickly gained traction on social media platforms, triggering a wave of discussions and backlash from various sections of the public.

In a strongly-worded statement, Duncan-Williams’ legal representatives condemned the publication as “entirely false and manufactured.” They made it clear that the claims in the article have no grounding in fact and accused ghanacelebrity.com of irresponsibly harming the Archbishop’s reputation.
The Archbishop’s team is demanding a public apology as well as a complete retraction of the story. They argue that failure to comply will result in legal proceedings aimed at restoring his image and deterring future falsehoods.
Duncan-Williams, who has maintained a highly respected image in both religious and national circles, insists that such media attacks must not be tolerated, especially when they are based on misleading or unfounded reports.
