Richard Badu, Head of Banking Operations for Nwabiagya Rural Bank PLC is a clear portrait of a leader who is passionate with his mission to serve others and create a positive environment in which his team can thrive.

He has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the advancement of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the wellbeing of the Municipality.
Among his achievements are employment of many NDC members as staff of his poultry and pharmaceutical business, facilitated the granting of micro finance loans to about 15 women groups, employed many NDC members at Nwabiagya Rural Bank aside 10 people he has employee at his chemical shops in the Municipality.
Vision
Richard Badu envisions;
1. The facelifting of all quarry sites in the district, having between 80 to 90 percent of the local content recruited as workers.
2. Addition of recreational facilities to the Barekese and Owabi dams to boost IGF
3. Creating employment avenues for the unemployed in the Municipality etc.
Qualities
Richard is an embodiment of humility, inclusivity, having a focus on tangible development.
His actions resonates deeply with the grassroots as he has championed their interests and prioritized their needs.
He is respected, and is action-oriented with a realistic plan and belief that small tasks done well and consistently create bigger wins and accomplishments.
Having him named and confirmed as the Municipal Chief Executive for Atwima Nwabiagya North will fast-track development and heighten hopes of constituents in the NDC.

ABOUT Richard Badu
Offinso Ahenkro is the hometown of Mr. Richard Badu.
He has lived in the constituency for 32 years at Atwima Koforidua.
Richard is a Christian and worships at the Believers Worship Centre .
He is married to Olivia Antwi who untill her departure to Canada for a masters program in Occupational Health and Safety Management was a public health nurse at Akropong gov’t polyclinic with 2 kids namely, Kwadwo Ohene Takyi Badu Djan and Kofi Oheneba Kumi Badu Djan.
Richard Badu is a Chartered Banker with 23 years experience in retail banking and also holds masters degree in accounting in the area of oil and gas accounting.
He is a product of the famous Osei Tutu SHS at AKROPONG and also a product of Kumasi Technical University.
He is a student member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants( ACCA ,UK)
Mr.Badu is founding member and a former Director of Asokore Mampong Rural Bank PLC and currently the Chief Operation Officer of Nwabiagya Rural Bank with it’s head office at Barekese.
He is a Senior Partner of Prodaplus Partners Consult, a consultancy firm that provides investment and business advisory services and also provide tuition for the chartered institute of bankers exams where he also doubles as a Senior lecturer for law relating to Banking services and practice of Banking law.
Mr Badu is also a business man with many businesses.

2. RICOLI PHARMACEUTICALS ( wholesalers and retailers of pharmaceutical products).
RICHARD is farmer, a full time politician and a philanthropist who always tries to give whatever he has to people.
He believes in empowerment of people and for that matter he has employed many ndc members.
He has served in many capacities in the NDC party at Atwima Nwabiagya North ever since he became an active member of the party in 2010.
