Members of an NPP-pro group called “Paraders for Adutwum” are vehemently advocating for former Education Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum to lead NPP as the Presidential candidate come 2028.
They are of the strong conviction that, the seasoned educator and Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe constituency is in a better position to lead the party as the flagbearer for the next general elections.
The group has asserted that Dr. Adutwum has gained much recognition owing to his significant contributions to the education sector, coupled with his administration experience and is therefore fit for the position.
After holding their first meeting in Kumasi last Sunday, Chairman for the group, Mr. Boateng Duncan told newsmen that the legislator has the development of the country at heart and for that reason did not hesitate when Ex-President Akufo-Addo’s called on him to come to Ghana to help him champion monumental changes in the education sector.
He said the impressive performance of Dr. Adutwum is what has made Ghana to witness notable strides in the education sector.
Mr. Duncan added that aside education, Dr. Yaw Adutwum carries so much potential and will harness them to better position NPP for victory come 2028 when given to chance to lead the party.
