IMPACT
Mohammed Bun Bida (projector coordinator) told newsmen that the initiative has been impactful, explaining that it is gradually eroding wrong perception people had about sexuality education.
“The wrong perception they had about sex education is now changing. People who are parents have expressed that they wish they had known more about puberty, love, sex and relationships”, he remarked.
Bun Bida said the long term goal is achieving drastic reduction in the rate of teenage pregnancy, early child marriage and equip girls and boys with adequate knowledge about their sexuality.
