On October 20, 2024, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, the First Lady of Sierra Leone embarked on a historic tour of the world’s largest theater-style auditorium, which accommodates up to 21,000 people, located in the beautiful Salt Lake City of Utah, USA.
This architectural marvel is renowned for its state-of-the-art acoustics and houses an impressive 7,667-pipe organ, making it the primary venue for the biannual General Conferences of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Beyond its impressive capacity and technical features, the auditorium also features a stunning rooftop garden, serene water elements, and artwork that beautifully reflects the faith’s rich heritage and values.
This visit not only underscores the importance of cultural and spiritual connections but also highlights Sierra Leone’s commitment to engaging with global communities.
