Friends of Dr. Napo and NPP executives of Manhyia South constituency have made a jumbo donation of assorted soft drinks and learning materials to students of public schools as part of the celebration of the 56th birthday of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
A little over 7,000 students within the jurisdiction of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, MP for Manhyia South Constituency benefited from the gesture.
The donation was done on Thursday, 23rd May, 2024.
Presentation of the items was carried out intermittently within the various schools same day by Nana Tima Boakye, Deputy CEO for Petroleum Hub Development Cooperation.
After giving out St. Lious Demonstration Junior High School’s share of the items, Nana Tima told the press that Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh had his early education within the constituency.
Premised on the foregoing, she said celebrating the occasion with the students was needful, saying it will let them know that a figure within the constituency has been able to rise to a great height in Ghana.
Receiving the items, Headmistress for St. Lious Junior High School Michelle Acquaye thanked the donors for the act of benevolence.
Speaking to the media, she recalled the numerous academic supports her school has enjoyed from Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, saying “Dr. Napo has always been supportive. He has never turned down our request”.
