Mayor for the capital city of Gambia- Banjul received in her office, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs.
H.E. Mehmet Kemal Bozay is also the head of the delegation of the Republic of Türkiye.
Joining the latter was Ambassador designated to the Gambia H.E. Turker OBA.
Mayor for Banjul, Rohey Malick Lowe had a long and fruitful meeting with them, all geared towards the empowerment of women and youths of Banjul and by extension the Gambia.
Refela which is a brand name in Turkey was also at the center of the discussions in line with the theme of the OIC conference “Enhancing unity and solidarity through dialogue for sustainable development”.
“I was particularly satisfied with the outcome of the meeting and now looking forward to the formulation and implementation of our action plans for a win-win collaboration.
My sincere thanks to H.E. Mehmet Kemal Bozay the deputy minister and his delegation. I am grateful and appreciate your love for Africa, especially women and youths”, she stated.
