A furious Kumasi-based evangelist, Isaac Osei-Wusu, has sent shockwaves across social media after invoking ancestral spirits and calling on God to punish and even kill New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates who may sell their votes ahead of the party’s flagbearer primaries on January 31, 2026.
In a now-viral video filmed inside a cemetery, the visibly enraged clergyman launched a blistering attack on alleged vote-buying within the party.

Standing among graves, he invoked the spirits of Ghana’s ancestors, urging them to act without mercy against any delegate who accepts money to vote for a candidate he believes will not develop the country.

According to the evangelist, Ghana’s ancestors shed their blood for the nation’s freedom and betterment, and must not spare anyone who betrays that sacrifice.
In an emotionally charged rant, he challenged the spirits of departed national heroes to prove that their deaths were not in vain by dealing decisively with “greedy” delegates.
Pushing his anger to the extreme, Evangelist Osei-Wusu urged the spirits to kill such delegates, declaring that they deserve to “join the ancestors” for placing personal gain above the future of the country.
In an exclusive interview with this medium, the Evangelist also called on God to punish them, insisting that divine judgment should fall on anyone who undermines Ghana’s democracy through money politics.
Despite the shocking language, the clergyman said his rage is fueled by patriotism and frustration.
He urged NPP delegates to vote for a candidate who truly deserves to lead the party as flagbearer: one who is determined to develop Ghana and make the country a better place.
The video has triggered explosive reactions online, with critics condemning the call for death and spiritual violence, while supporters argue that it reflects the raw anger of many Ghanaians fed up with corruption and vote-buying.
As of the time of filing this report, the leadership of the NPP has remained silent on the matter.
