As the race for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2028 flagbearer heats up, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, one of the party’s most prominent hopefuls, is projecting confidence and urgency in the home stretch.

Speaking to supporters across the country via a post shared on his official Facebook page, Dr  Bryan Acheampong painted a picture of a party on the move and a campaign that refuses to wait.

“As I engage with our people across the country, I feel a growing sense of urgency and determination everywhere.

The message is clear. Our people are ready, our party is energised, and our time is now,” Acheampong stated, signaling that he believes momentum is firmly on his side.

With only five days to the internal NPP vote, the former minister framed the contest as a pivotal moment not just for himself, but for the party’s cohesion and future direction.

“This is no longer the moment to hesitate. The time for action is now. Action to reach out to one another. Action to strengthen our unity. Action to stand firm in what we believe and deliver a victory that will move our party forward,” he wrote, emphasizing both mobilization and consolidation of support.

Political analysts suggest Acheampong’s repeated calls for unity and disciplined leadership are aimed at appealing to delegates wary of internal fractures.

By framing his campaign around hope, energy, and party loyalty, he positions himself as a unifying figure at a time when the NPP faces both internal competition and the looming 2028 general elections.

“Let us move together with one purpose and one voice. Vote #2, and together, we will achieve a resounding victory,” Acheampong concluded, underlining the urgency of his appeal.

With hashtags like #BA2028, #TogetherWeWin, and #LetsUniteAndRebuild, his campaign underscores a narrative of renewal, ambition, and strategic positioning within the party.

Observers say Acheampong’s statement may be a strategic signal to both delegates and party stalwarts that he is not just running for the flagbearer ticket, but aiming to redefine the party’s approach in the lead-up to 2028.
