The Frank Care Foundation has undertaken a donation exercise to support vulnerable groups at the Kumasi Cheshire Home and the Kwadaso Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disabilities.

The outreach, which took place earlier today, benefited persons living with mental health challenges, individuals recovering from substance abuse, and children with disabilities.

The initiative was led by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, and was organized to mark the birthday of his wife while sharing the joy of the festive season with the less privileged.
Speaking during the exercise, Dr. Amoakohene described the gesture as an act of compassion and reflection, emphasizing the importance of caring for society’s most vulnerable.

He also used the occasion to highlight the harmful effects of substance abuse, particularly among young people, and called for collective action by families, communities, institutions, and leaders to protect the youth.
The donation exercise was attended by the District Chief Executive for Sekyere South, Hon. Evans Twumasi; the Deputy Political Coordinator, Hon. Faisal Dauda; the Kwadaso Constituency Chairman and executives; members of KAFA; and Judge Louis Lamis, whose presence added significance to the event.

Dr. Amoakohene commended the Frank Care Foundation, caregivers, and volunteers for their dedication to humanitarian service, noting that true development is measured not only by infrastructure but by how society cares for its most vulnerable members.
