The Chief Executive Officer of M. Y Caesar Company Limited, Dr. Caesar, has cautioned Ghanaians to prioritize their health and avoid waste, which he believes can lead to premature death.

To support the National Sanitation Program, Dr. Caesar donated 30 packs of Lina energy tea to the Asokwa Municipal, Kumasi Metro, and the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council.

He explained that the sanitation exercise requires a lot of energy, and the tea would help boost the immune system of the participants, enabling them to work efficiently. Dr. Caesar urged citizens to take care of their health, citing the importance of a strong immune system in preventing diseases .

Dr. Caesar also highlighted the risks associated with improper waste management, particularly the practice of throwing plastic waste into gutters. He noted that this attitude can have severe consequences on public health and the environment, leading to the spread of diseases and other health problems. According to Dr. Caesar, improper waste management can lead to a range of health issues, including infections and diseases caused by contaminated water and air pollution .
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Kumasi Mayor, Mr. Richard Ofori Agyeman Boadi, thanked Dr. Caesar and his company for their support. Mr. Boadi emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and private sector in promoting public health and sanitation.

This initiative is in line with the government’s efforts to improve healthcare infrastructure and services, as highlighted by the Minister of Health’s recent speech at the Government Accountability Series. The Minister emphasized the need to prioritize healthcare and invest in initiatives that promote public health and well-being
Dr. Caesar’s advice to prioritize health and avoid waste is a timely reminder of the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and proper waste management. As Ghana continues to grapple with the challenges of public health and sanitation, initiatives like this serve as a catalyst for change. By working together, we can create a healthier and more sustainable environment for all Ghanaians.
