On Friday, 26th September 2025, the Ambassador of the State of Israel, His Excellency Roey Gilad, paid a courtesy call on the Acting Chief Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Her Excellency Khadija Iddrisu.
During the meeting, Ambassador Gilad conveyed warm greetings and goodwill from the Government and people of Israel.
He reaffirmed Israel’s commitment to further strengthening the longstanding and friendly relations between the two nations.
The Ambassador also announced ongoing efforts to reactivate the MASHAV programme, Israel’s international development cooperation initiative.
Her Excellency Khadija Iddrisu expressed appreciation for Israel’s continued partnership and underscored the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest. She emphasized the need to explore new opportunities for collaboration that would yield tangible benefits for both countries.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both parties reaffirming their shared commitment to enhancing diplomatic and development ties.
