On Tuesday, 13th May 2025, seven cattle rearers were prosecuted for engaging in noxious trade after dumping waste from their cattle operations into the Moshie Zongo stream.
Despite several warnings to stop the practice, they failed to comply. Environmental Health Officers from Manhyia North Sub-Metro took legal action, leading to their arraignment before Court 1 at Asem, presided over by His Worship Andah Akrofi.
Each offender was fined 100 penalty units and cautioned to desist from such acts going forward.
