2024 Eid Celebration: Sierra Leone First Lady Fatima Maada Bio Writes
Today had been a day like no other.
For the first time in my life, as a family we celebrated Eid with our Muslim brothers and sisters at the State Lodge.
We then joined our Christian Families to celebrate St Anthony’s Day at the Church.
This is Religious Tolerance at its highest peaks. No other country in the world has what we have in Sierra Leone when we talk about Religion.
A Catholic Christian Man and a Muslim Woman as the leaders of a nation who respect each others religion and participate in both celebrations with joy and love of Family unity.
Today we also celebrate Father’s Day and finally we celebrated the Day Of The African Child.
Four celebrations in one day and was celebrated by a Christian President and Myself his wife a Muslim woman.
We are grateful to you Allah/God for keeping our union safe so we can be a brighter example for the world to see.
