Ghana’s Finance Minister, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam has paid glowing tribute to the late Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah.

He has described him as team player and a resourceful brother whose legacy would continue to live on.

The Minister made these known when he received a delegation from the International Monetary Fund for the opening meeting to commence the 2nd Review Mission.

According to the Finance Minister, the Late John Kumah was instrumental in the 1st Review Mission playing pivotal role that led to Ghana securing the Staff Level Agreement in record time.

The sudden departure of the late MP, the Minister acknowledged, had left a profound void in “our hearts,” and in the corridors in the ministry.

Present at the meeting were the Minister of State Designate, Hon Abena Osei Asare, MP, 1st Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, Dr Maxwell Opoku-Afari and other officials of the Bank of Ghana and the Ministry of Finance.
